About the destination: Santiago is the capital and financial and cultural centre of Chile. Santiago is located in the central valley of Chile between the Andes mountains range to the east and the Cordillera of the Coast to the west.Lively Plaza de Armas is the heart of Santiago. Nearby there are many of the city’s attractions, such as the Cathedral. Palacio de La Moneda is worth seeing for the significant contribution towards Chilean history and you can see the daily changing of the guard. Climb up Cerro Santa Lucia for stunning view of the city and for its interesting landscape and baroque architecture. For museum enthusiasts the Museo Chileno del Arte Precolombino is a must-see for its Pre-Columbian collection. Santiago's Bohemian quarter Bario Bellavista is full of restaurants and bars. La Chascona, one of Pablo Neruda's houses is also locates here. Not far from Bario Bellavista there is Cerro San Cristobal, perfect for a relaxed hike. Don't forget to check out the Mercardo Central which is renowned for its fresh fish. A cosmopolitan and lively city, Santiago has lots to offer. Nice clubs, lots of shopping, and some interesting landmarks makes Santiago a great city to visit.

However, Plaza España is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Plaza de España stands out for its pretty azulejos and shinning floor, the fountain and the gorgeous statue. The gigantic Parque General San Martín is the biggest and most beautiful of Mendoza and one of the city’s highlights. The park has beautiful streets and avenues surrounded by hundreds of species of plants and trees, several fountains, sculptures, gardens and an artificial lake. Wine tasting and visits to vineyards are top activities on visitors' itineraries as well as drinking and dining at any of the many bodegas found all over the city. With a laid-back atmosphere but a lively attitude, Mendoza, the land of sun and wine, is a delightful place to visit.

About the destination: Puerto Iguazú is a small town located on the Misiones province in the northwest part of Argentina. Puerto Iguazú is the perfect base to visit the Iguazú National Park, the main reason why people visit this town. Puerto Iguazú is a peaceful and nice tourist city with tree lined streets and nature all around. The atmosphere of Puerto Iguazú is really pleasant and authentic. The centre of the city is small, the mains streets are Córdoba and Avenida Aguirre and most of the restaurants, shops, markets and facilities are situated here. The terminal de bus to get to the Iguazú National Park is 5-10 minutes from the centre. At night, the city centre is quite lively, especially on Friday and Saturday night. The park has great natural importance and ecological wealth. Both sites were declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO, in 1984. It is a great place to view wildlife including penguins, dolphins, orcas, seals and a wide variety of birds. Ushuaia is where the world ends or where it starts.
